Obituary: Kent M. Pahlow – Door County Pulse
March 8, 1961 ~ September 14, 2021
Kent M. Pahlow, 60, of Sister Bay, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center. He was born on March 8, 1961 in Green Bay to Richard and Anna Gay (Hubbard) Pahlow.
Kent attended and graduated from Green Bay East in the Class of 1979. He then worked in the family business at Pahlow’s Luggage Leather and Gifts as Vice President until it closed in 1992. Kent joined Yacht Works, Sister Bay, WI in 1993. as Services Coordinator. He worked with his team sharing his knowledge and incredible sense of humor with clients and crew. Our family warmly thanks the management and crew of Yacht Works for their friendship and support.
His hobbies included boating, snowmobiling, convertibles and anything that had a powerful engine that could go fast !! He could also be found relaxing on a sailboat. Kent loved Door County and rarely left the comfort of it.
Kent’s memory remains to be cherished: his parents, Richard and Anna Gay Pahlow; sisters, Julie (Mike) Laubenstein their children, Taylor and Noah, Marcia (Matt) Havrilko and son Nathan all of Green Bay; Aunt, Vicky Hubbard of Sister Bay; uncle, Dr. Ronald (Beverly) Hubbard of Green Bay; their children and families and a special friend, Jennifer Lyons. He is also survived by many cousins, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Ralph “Mickey” and Myra Hubbard, Henry and Mae Pahlow.
A private family memorial service was held. Celebration of Life for Kent is planned for a later date
The family would especially like to thank the staff in the Intensive Care Unit at Aurora BayCare Medical Center for all the loving care and compassion they provided to Kent.
